I also have a 1946 industrial A. The orginal color, after removing grease was orange. From what i have found out, it was used in KY to mow the highways. Poor thing, it had a hard life as when i got it, it was on its second engine(service block). Well it was cracked so now its on its third engine and second head. One thing that is neat about it is that despite the service block, all the disilite pieces were put back on it. If you need any help with the decals i have a extra complete set for one. One of these days im hoping to paint it as i have already bought yellow paint for it.
