NO, NO, NO, not on an F-20! The engine will still turn free with a stuck valve. Another person mentioned a tappet seized in the guide. This can be a problem but if the valve is stuck open, more than likely the cam will clear the tappet. Most of the time F-20 valves can be easliy freed by simply lubricating them then gently tapping them open and prying them shut several times. FOCUS ON THE PISTONS!! Remove the inspection covers from the side of the block, feel the bottoms of the sleeves for rust or water signs, if you find ANY remove the head. If not continue to work on trying to turn the engine. Generally, the success or failure of turning a stuck engine depends directly on what position the engine stopped in (TDC, BDC, pistons half way, etc.). Good Luck
