Tracy & Lisa: Some 424 and 444 parts will fit. There were two different 444. The one sold in Canada, Europe and Austrailia was completely manufactured and assembled in England, and is close to 434. The 444 sold in the US was shipped to Louisville as engine, transmission and rear end, and assembled using US sheet metal, front end, radiator, controls and Delco electrics.
All 434 were completely manufactured and assembled in England, and is close to the same as 275, 414, British 444 and 384. 434 has some different transmission components than the others.
I'm not sure about 424 but think it was US assembled only.
The quickest way to pick these out is by the front axle. The British models have straight front axle with drag link steering. All US assembled British tractors have swept back front axle with hydrostatic power steering. The British assembled models also have Lucas electrics, whereas all US assembled models have Delco electrics.
Here in Canada, 434 are selling between $2,500. and $5,000. depending on condition. There are a few advertised higher, but I've never heard of one selling for more than $5,000. in the past 3 years. I know of 3 that were bought from dealers, 2 diesel and 1 gas.
