I know it's a little off topic, but I lost my cell phone. Found it after being out in the rain for a month. I dried it off. Took the battery and SIM card out, then put it all in a jar of rice overnight. Next day wiped it all down again, put the charge on it and it worked fine. Had some moisture in the screen areas. I put it on the dash of my truck, left it in the sun all day and now the phone is perfect. Of course I had already changed the service to my new phone, but all my address book, alarm clocks, etc are still there.
I do not think this will work for all phones. This was a Motorola, one of the more indestructible types. Maybe leave the tractor out with the gauges facing the sun? Just my two cents worth.
