Unbolt the fan shroud & leave it on the engine. Those 4 long bolts can be a pain but will come eventually. Top 2 also have the radiator brace involved to make it more interesting. When removing the large nut on the top of the bolster (proper name for the "front end") be prepared to catch oil that is in the gearbox. After removing the u-joint, clean off the shaft & unscrew it out of the gearbox. Check to see if you need to replace the oil seal & gasket while you have it apart. I would replace the lube with "corn head grease" which will lube well but doesn't leak out if the steering shaft seal is less than perfect.
