I know some of you fellas don't like this forum to be used for a "How much is it worth" venue, but I need some help. On my Memorial Day trip I passed a farm with a Farmall H sitting near a barn visable from the road. So I went to take some pictures. I went to the house to ask, and the owner told me it was his Dad's, and he didn't know much about it. I told him maybe I can tell him a few things about it. When I got there, I looked at it, and saw it had the square-type seat, thesmall gas tank, AND the heat manifold in place! I checked the serial number... 886
I told the gentleman he had an early H, but I wasn't sure what it was worth. He isn't sure what he wants to do with it. He'd like to keep it, but times are tough for him. So, I told him I'd ask the worth and get back to him.
Since this is such an early H, I don't know what that does to the value. Especially since it's on the coast of California, and not in the mid-west. Can you fellas help me out with a guesstimated worth? Everything is there, including the shutters. He told me it was overhauled some years ago, but he can't remember the last time it ran. I check the motor, and it was stuck.
Any help you can give for a price would be appreciated.

It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'. My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
