I presume your Super M is equipped with two hydraulic control handles - one on the hydraulic tank and the other on a 4-way remote ("Christmas tree") valve?
If so, the handle on the tank is the "Liftall" control. It's intended for one-way (pressure lift/gravity drop) cylinders as on mounted cultivators, etc. The handle back supplies pressure and extends the cylinder; centered it holds pressure and cylinder position; forward it releases pressure so the cylinder drops. (For it to work the other handle must be pulled back and locked.)
The other handle is for a two-way (pressure both directions) remote-mounted cylinder. To operate a 4-way cylinder first the Liftall outlets must be plugged then the Liftall lever pulled back/latched. Pressure will now be supplied to the Christmas tree valve inlet.
