bc/Bernard, Pulled the wheel and there is NO cap and felt washer under the wheel. Also don't see any hand pump so this 784 is not the same as those models bc mentions. There is evidence of oil around the top st'rg wheel wheel shaft which has leaked down to the rubber plug in the instrument panel shaft opening which then leaks down the front of the I.P. There is a neoprene (or rubber) seal at the top of the shaft which has a visible P/N of 6003RS and 1KS on the opposite circumference; there is NO snap ring holding this seal in place. I fired up the engine but there was no real leaking at idle. The leak is definitely at the top of the steering shaft and NOT at the tubes going into the valve assembly. Guess I'll still have to remove the valve assembly and have IH go thru it.
