I have a Farmall 706 that is likely to be mine (moving to larger acreage and need a bigger tractor/loader than my 450). It has a serial number that according to the listing on this site would make it a 1966 model. On the serial number plate, there is the serial number followed by letter combination "S - Y". Anybody know what that means?
Model is listed as F - 706.
Really like the machine so far as I"ve only had a chance to play with it a couple days, but it seems to run smooth and operate as it should.
