By all means use front splitting stands on both tractors. I would not attempt it any other way!!! A good way to build them would be to use used semi-trl. landing gear as they are heavy duty and adjustable. It is possible to use a crank on each leg. They do not have to have the pipe connecting them togather. Somebody posted a picture of them in the last month or two on either this forum or All The Rest. I would use either a forklift or a loader to lift the wide front. A heavy duty transmission jack would also work. If you have any questions please ask. E-mail is open. Armand
