we put a turbo on our 966 several years ago. you have to plan for adding one. when it was being overhauled the upper cooling jets were drilled out. then the turbo is basically a bolt on. it takes a bigger fan, bigger oil pump, different exhaust manifold. when it was all said a done
it was dynoed at 125 hp. i didn't go out and buy any bigger equipment than i had before. it just pulled everything better especially the 5 shank soil saver. we never had an engine or rear end issue from adding the turbo. so it can be done if you use your brains.
