"The IH color for pre-'49 tractors is IH# 50. Cannot be bought from IH anymore. Can be mixed at local paint store- PPG-#70019 ; Sherwin-Williams # 224; Dupont # 7110. I use Case/IH # 2150. It is the post-'49 paint. Looks really good on the old tractors. I also use Case/IH # B17565 Silver/Argent for rims. Use NAPA Econo-Body 15117 Super Gloss hardner with both colors. Alot depends on how much you intend to spend. Case/IH paint is $35-$40 per gal. and has extremely close match between batches. Mixed paint is "much" higher and color match depends on person that mixes it. It's your choice. " HTH
