You need to touch the magnets with a flat blade screwdriver to see if they attract that screwdriver with some effort. Your coil could be weak. Clean the points with some 320 wet or dry and make sure the gap is .013". Install a new condenser before spending a lot of money. Then see if the tractor will start. If you need to pull the mag note where the rotor is pointing and write it down then DON"T move the engine while the mag is off. To reinstall put the rotor in the same position as when you removed it and reinstall. Hal
