Guy, I can't speak with any authority about IH's competition, but it seem to me that the Farmall draft control in 1959 was very primative. Others have posted here at this forum that 560 and 460 fast hitch with traction control did not work very well. It could be that their tractors were not weighted properly. However, I think it is safe to say that it wasn't until the 06 series, that IH got a handle on draft control.
