If you need that kind of HP just get it. You won't ever regret it. I bought a 3388 several years ago and now my son-in-law has a 3788. Between the 2 of them, I can't decide which I like better. I have done everything with my 3388 and it does a good job. Even mowed hay and baled with it last year and had no problems. It never gets stuck! I have a big square baler and I always pull it with the 3388. Only problem I have ever had with it is the hydraulic pump.
