Bob: Not sure I'd bet much money on that "11" or "12" month item. There could be a difference between tractors built in IL and the little tractors built at Loiusville. The little ones are the ones I see most these days, and it's quite common for those castings to be 6-10 months before the tractor was built.
My Super A is the 97th built in 1953, and every casting on it is April, May or June 1952. I've seen numerous other tractors with that spread, and yes they were all Loiusville tractors.
