Unless the part was several thousand dollars, I doubt he ran off with your money. He made 1524 posts on this forum site. You don't spend all that time building up a reputation and friendships to screw someone out of a couple hundred dollars. That's a lot of work for a few packs of cigarettes.
You gotta remember that a lot of guys on here are retired farmers who have worked hard all their lives and didn't always take the best care of themselves. Health problems pop up like dandelions and put you out of commission for weeks. Just ask my folks...
