The following is nothing but information and good practice. (not a lecture). Don't replace any components until the problem is clearly identified. New parts can and will confuse the real problem, and make it much harder to fix. Once it is running, then tune it up!! The first issue is voltage to the coil, Is it full bat voltage? The second is it converted to 12v, and if so is there a ballast resistor? and is it OK? The third is there actually no spark? If not is there voltage at the points when they are open? Are you sure it is spark related? The fuel could be plugged up, and making it not run. Tank supply hole, screen in sediment bowl, water in bowl, plugged screen at the carb inlet (in the fitting).
