Yes the White Demonstrator did exist but only in 1950. Some came from the factory painted white but others were painted at the dealership. There is no record of the serial numbers of those from the factoty. Many were painted red and sold after the promotion was over. I believe the wheels were left red/silver and there was a large cardboard insert that was placed in the rear wheel with graphics promotion the IH tractors. There are occasional articles in Red Power magazine about the white demonstrators.
