This oil seal has 59398D stamped on it. It appears to be a double seal that fits behind the bearing instead of in front toward the opening. It is about 3/4" wide and the center hole is about 1 7/8". the outside measures about 2 7/8". Maybe this better explan it. Thanks. Harley
You just described to the letter what the original seal looks like, and no, that one is no longer available, but that number has been replaced by a newer, modern style that is actually superior to the original. The new seal is much thinner, about 1/2 the thickness. It is not necessary, but you can install 2 of the new seals in place of the original.
