Well, it`s more than likely a C-24, later just called a No. 24 sickle mower. They had them in 2 different versions: regular duty and heavy duty. The only difference I could see between the 2 versions was the heavy duty had 2 springs on the back end of the mower and regular duty had only 1. I have 1 of each kind here at home. There was also a No. 28 which is very similar. On them , the 2 point prongs are higher off the ground by 3 or 4 inches than the No. 24 prongs are. They were made to use on utility tractors 300U, 340U and 350U.Yours does have the wooden pitman arm, correct ? Otherwise it`s a 120 or 1200 balanced head mower.
