I wouldn't speculate. It could be 12 or 6. Most likely 12. I would pull it off quick and take it to the parts store and have them 1. Test it to see if it's still good and 2 have them tell you the voltage and polarity. I know a few guys that would buy a 12v alternator and have the shop put in a 6v regulator in to it. I'd be surprised if it were 6v but hey it won't cost you anything to get it tested. Sounds like you need to go to the parts store anyway to get cables.
