I thought the PTO seal was leaking on my M so I pulled it out to replace it and the bearing. I realized there was only a seal on the inboard side of the bearing and nothing holding the grease in. Now I can see it was not gear oil leaking past the seals. I went to the case ih website and I found my tractor falls between serial numbers 27997 and 59956 and was missing a felt washer and retainer. CaseIH still carries the bearing, seal, and felt, but not the retainer. Is there anywhere else to get one of these, or is it like a washer, or does any know the dimensions so I can attempt to make one? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
