IH did not keep track of which ones were painted white, so there is no way to prove without a doubt that your tractor is a white demo.
I believe that the white demos were done in the first 3 months of 1950. The serial number range can be found with a little research. You can estimate rougly by dividing the difference between 1950 and 1951's starting serial numbers by 4, and adding that to the 1950 starting serial number.
The fact that it is a 1950 model and has evidence of white paint is a good clue, but is not conclusive. Unless you can find someone that can verify that the tractor was originally white, you'll never know. However, you will not be wrong in painting it white if you want. It will also be a good idea to somehow record that the tractor is possibly a white demo for future generations.
