On my own S/MTA with just the flat top M&W pistons and the stock head with only minor tweeking of the dist I make just a whisker over 60 HP, My one buddy's S/MTA with the 8500 foot high alt. pistons and a stock 450 head and a stock rebuilt cam that was built up and reground to factory spec. a stock 450 manifold and just a sight bit of dist. work and carb work is over 94and will put a 706 gasser to shame.
