White Farmalls were produced as part of the Mid-Century Sales Promotion in 1950, which was aimed at selling slow selling tractors including the Cub, Super A, and C. There is no indication whatsoever that Ms or other tractors were painted white at the factory for this program. Tractors may have been painted white for customers who ordered them that way, or they may have been painted white at dealerships. Much of the confusion comes because IH used a white sealer on cast iron parts. The white M out there is a 1946- not a time when IH needed to boost sales!
