The seal and a speedisleeve probably isn't too bad. I think I might try that first unless I was convinced by other evidence that the bearing was bad.
The difficulty on the bearing probably depends on how much press-fit was used...and...you'll probably have to concoct a puller and a pusher to install it without damaging the new one.
