when i was young & stupid i put a Ford 460 -4barrel in a W9. It had too much power , would lift the front end if you cracked the throttle in road gear. had it on the road and must have been doing 40 mph and lost it . tractor flip over in the ditch and threw me in the hay field.Just got bruised a little. That was the END of my W9 , saved the engine, scraped the rest. V8's are dangerous in tractors
