The earlier 706 had a lighter wishbone where the fast hitch forks go in. The later 706, with flat top fenders and longer hydraulic levers, have a heavier wishbone. But either way, if you are over 60 or hate jacks and jacking up equipment, you will love a fast hitch. Be sure to get the drawbar for it. You will never use a jack again. Some were made for semi mounted plows that didn't require any real strength. As I recall they only had one hole. The correct plate is cast with 2 holes. The other type is a one piece unit with forks and 3rd arm all in one piece. These don't look very heavy but I have lifted an 8 row flat fold cultivator with one on the back of a 460. It made the tractor a little light in the front end though.
