'Side marker' like bulbs, such as #194 are 0.3A and some of the other small bulbs often mentioned such as # 53, 1815, 57 run from 0.12A to 0.24A and the 1976 Chevy used a resistance wire in the harness with 10 ohms resistance 12/10=1.2A..........so, it appears that a wide range will work, after all any field magnetism will generate something and after that the trio takes over and it sort of bootstraps itself.
