New to me tractor. 240U with power steering and fasthitch only. After 10-15 sec. of run time hyd fluid starts to be blown out the vent. :( The hyd pump is NOT being forced to run at high pressure. Happens even if no input to steering or fasthitch. Any ideas? Also, can hyd valves from a 300 rowcrop be added to the 240 hyd system? Also, it calls for hy-tran in the rear end, but my super C calls for regular gear lube. Is it safe to go with gear lube in the rear end of the 240? Isn't it the same rear end as the super C?
