Farmboy- Go for it man! Please, always keep in mind that you are fiddling around way out in the "land of stupid"... Your tractor no longer has a bunch of huge and very heavy cast iron stuff in the front part. You're gonna end up with some kinda car, or pickup, radiator for engine cooling. All the new parts are gonna be much lighter. The center of gravity, weight & balance, or however you want to look at it, is gonna move rearward. Speed on the road capability will be unreal. "Wheelie" capability, with complete back flip potential, is gonna be off the chart. I screwed up big time, by putting on a belt driven governor, from an old combine, and nearly got killed for it. My normal operating trick was to set the Chevy 2bbl on the fast idle cam, at around 1500 RPM. Were I to do it again I'd probably use a snowmobile type throttle. Take your time, think things thru real careful, don't let "the stupids" overwhelm you, and have lots of fun. Please post your experiences. Play safe! IHank

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
