I have a cub demo, have seen a "C"&"A"demo.Itis my understanding that these were the only FACTORY released demonstrators, however, there seems to be a whole fleet of "H"&"M" demo's circulating, most of them already restored so it is hard to confirm their original colors. They also seem to have been available in this 1950 version in any year of production as I have seen them advertised in auction bills as a "1941 demonstrator",or a "rare 1948 special white".I had read in "Antique Power" that the larger series tractors were'nt included in this promotion, and the editor challenged anyone to produce a piece of factory or dealer literature to prove otherwise, as far as I know the offer still stands. My personal feeling is that any white "H" or "M" is that way because somebody other than the factory or sales promotion dept. wanted it that color.Unfortunatly,as tractors become an "Investment grade collectibile"you are bound to see many "enhanced" models appear ,just as the old car market has done, you cant find just a plain-jane camaro or lemans anymore, they're all Z-28's and GTO's now!
