24" wheels were standard on early W-4's and 26" were standard on later. I don't know what year they changed but I would gurss late 1940's, but that is just a guess. My 1942 book shows standard as 5:50 x 16 front and 11.25 x 24 rear (change in designation to 12 then modern to 13.6). 6:00 x 16 and 12.75 (to 13 then 14.9) x 24 rear My 1952 book shows standard as 5:50 x 16 and 12 (13.6) x 26 rear. Options were 6:00 x 16 and 13 (14.9) x 26 rear.
