The adjustable heated manifold uses a outlet pipe that bolts to manifold, the gas and LP use a screw in outlet pipe. Unless the tractor is being restored to original and it was shipped to use kerosene or distillate I wouldn't recomend using that type. If your tractor is a gasoline it came with manifold # 362437R1 and later replacements for it from IH was 362437R2. On left of page click parts and pieces, when that comes up put manifolds in search box. You will find pictures of 4 IH gasoline manifolds M,SM,400 and 450. See if yours matches one, then the answer to that may help answer which type may be better than yours or not. Also need to say what the tractor is going to be used for.
