All, need advice on reassembling my 460U brakes. These are same as SMTA brakes and presumably on, spring-ball-expander mechanism.
I am stuck trying to pilot the splined shaft into the outer friction disc.
I can visualize what needs to happen...but is this pure blind luck or is there some technique?? (thinking snug up the bolts and rock the tractor back and forth a little bit hoping it will self-pilot into the path of least resistance).
Its 92F and the bug spray is starting to get diluted if you get my drift!
