What is this 4-14 plow you're looking at? If you can tell us the model someone can tell you if you can drop the rear bottom off it and make it into a 3-bottom as suggested earlier.
The ground where I grew up is about as tough as it gets and the Super M had all it wanted with 3-14 in sod in 2nd gear last spring.
