Since you ask this same question a few days ago and one poster already pointed out the serial # list on left then, you must be confused on how to read it. You had two different answers the last time so I will tell you F 4766 J is a 52 again. First Farmall plant SM tractor built in may of 52 was serial # 4714. First one made in june was 8271. Your tractor falls between the two numbers, so serial # 4766 was assembled in may of 52. First gas SM tractor from Farmall built in calender year 1953 was serial # 21074. First SM tractor built at farmall in 1953 was SMDV 12516 which is shown as the start of 53 SM tractors and is misleading when checking gas tractors.
