The weights are designed so that you can bolt one weight onto the rear wheel. Then you can use bolts in the slotted holes. Some 3/4" ready rod works really good. You can stick it through the wheel and put a nut on either side and tighten down. Then you can hang the weights on one at a time and then put a nut on and tighten them all together. I buddy put seven of them on the back of a 1466 that way. For just 3 weights you could get by with jus two bolts but once you get the first two on and tightened it is easy to slide two more through the holes and use four of them. Keep in mind that the inside hole of the weights are oblong shaped. You want to put the first one on so that you can access the axle hub bolts. Otherwise you get to take all of the weights off if you need to slide your tires in or out.
