Mike I thought that was 4th grade, because I know I'm not as smart as a 5th grader. The housing that the throttle tube from the carburetor goes into. It is on top of the main governer housing and mounted with 2 bolts to the main housing. M one is taller than a H. The rod that comes up through that housing, hooks to throttle shaft on top and governor arm or fork in the main housing is longer for a M also. Tube and the shaft inside it going from governor top housing to carburetor is longer on a M. Gear that drives the governors is different, that can be changed out as can the other parts above switched onto housings to interchange on IH ones. On the M&W the rod from the governor fork has helm joints or uniball ends. The tube to carb and shaft inside are a little shorter than IH ones to give more room for the lever on end of shaft that small bolt screws in that mounts the small helm joint. It mounts the lower joint end with a bolt also. IH used pins. A complete M&W governor can't be switched between a H and M without the above parts that are different. Anything can be done though, I have shortened a IH tube and shaft, redrilled the pin hole in end of shaft for the short lever, changed length of vertical rod for the helm joints and interchanged governors. Hope this is clear enough.
