OK, I just got the rivet out of the collar that holds the spring down (had to drill out the rivet but I hit it dead center!). Now I see two things on the side of the shift tower that look like small (about 1/2" dia.) soft plugs. ...or are they just of the ends of the shifter pivot pin? Does the pivot pin just drive out?
