My father just purchased a 5088 at an auction for the latest addition to our farm at an auction. New paint, great tires, set of duals, full suitcase weights, new injector pump, new injector, runs and drives beautifully with 4000 hrs. He bought it fir $13,000 because no one else seemed to interested. He plans on using this as a replacement to our 1086. Any opinions on this model. It is the first 88 series I have driven and I really like it, especially the shift pattern. What evils may be lurking with this particular model?
