Make sure there isn't any dirt or foreign material in the tripping mechanism. I think there is an adjustment bolt that can be set to trip at more or less pressure on the moldboard/ share. Been a while since I ran one of those. I'll try to find the book & see what it says. I believe ours had a piece of stick in the tripping mechanism that wouldn't let it come all the way back to "home" position one time.
