Received Guy Fay's/Andy Kraushaar's book "Farmall Letter Series Tractors" for Christmas, and see the two-way plow photo on page 62. Have been told by lifelong farmers in SW MN they never saw these IHC two-way or the M-M tumblebug type plows before... We bought one at the 1998 Pelzel Auction in Sleepy Eye MN where both IHC and M-M rollover plows were auctioned. Were these plows common in farming areas using irrigation? Any idea of how many two-way plows manufactured? Plan to restore/paint the plow and show it in 1999. Was the two-way sold on rubber or just steel? Baumheckel and Borghoff's book "International Harvester Farm Equipment Product History 1831-1985" shows a two-way plow on steel on page 159. Appreciate any information from Farmall collectors.
