Original tire size was 9X24, changed tire size in the last 50 yrs to 9.5X24, that rim should fit. I just re-tired 2 on an A, had to weld up one wheel-rotted around stem from calcium, which did not go back in. Your wheel possibly could be welded, depending on how bad it is rotted out.
