Now if you are talking about motorcycles, that a
different story. Good H-D motorcycles from that
period and before are worth $20,000-$30,000 in the
US. You could pack a million dollars of future
value into one container. How many Chevys or
Farmalls would fit. Maybe four Farmalls with a
future value of one Harley.
Batista and his security force were always shown
with lots of motorcycle escorts. Civilian bikes
abound as well. Nice weather there for riding. Although I don't believe there is a HOG (Harley Owner's Group) Chapter in Cuba, there are lots of small clubs and shade tree mechanics who keep the old iron running with imported and homemade parts.
