Hi Vern: Dec 7th 1941. WW2 had been going in Europe before that. WW2 had about 60,000,000 people killed of which 20 to 25 million were military. The younger people can't relate to older history like those who lived through WW2. The 1861-1865 Civil War was a lot closer to home and was very deadly also.. Over 600,000 Americans killed. The older I get the less I like seeing anything die. ag ret.
