I have a 300LP that has an Ensign system on it. Last week when I was changing the oil I decided to change the LP filter. The filter inside the can (marked Ensign)had two part numbers on. Purolator # was 51186 Ensign #was 62611 (as best I can tell). I went to my local NAPA guys and they didn't laugh but they looked at me kinda funny ... I wrote Purolator and they said they had no record of that filter.
I called my local LP supplier and he said he had an inline filter that would replace the Ensign system. My filter was dry and clean, so I just blew it out with the air gun and reinstalled it. I am going to the city this comming tuesday. I think I may stop buy and get the filter he had just to have an extra.
