The magnetic clutch is like an automotive AC compressor clutch. In this case, the clutch is attached to a hydraulic pump. These units have been around for 40-50 years. One might think they could slip under high pressure requirements but the pump is rated to deliver 3000 psi.
The clutch is activated with 12V DC. The pump is belt driven.
