Tring to figure out if it would be cheaper to have a McCormick 101 combine hauled from down by Cleveland OH to Northern Michigan by someone else or if renting a big enough trailer and do it myself. the combine is going to be given to me if I agree to keep it and use it. I posted a ad on the hauling place but want to get it here cheap as possible. Whats the normal haulin rates per mile with a load like this
Main wheel width -8ft idle wheel width - 6ft Total length (operator's platform to end of straw chopper) - 18ft(appx.) Estimated weight 7500lbs. Head width - 10.5ft Head length - 9 feet. (hard to measure because head is tilted upwards on cinderblocks) Head height - 5 feet at most with reel strapped to the head Header is not on the combine and I might haul that myself if it wont fit on the trailer w/ combine. Thanks for the help guys. Ryan
